Centrally located, close to their work and all amenities, our clients were reluctant to give up their cozy Ville St Laurent home in search of more space. This beautiful 810 sq.ft. basement and main level addition in the rear of their home provided them with extra, bright living space overlooking the backyard and pool area and much needed laundry and storage space in the basement. 
We excavated to 7 feet below grade and installed a french drain before forming the foundation wall. Completion of the main level addition was our client’s priority, however, the basement addition was outfitted with all new drainage and water supplies as well as electrical for current and future needs and completed to insulation with the Phase 2 finishing planned for a later date. 
A flat roof maintained the view from the second level bedroom window of the existing home and kept options open for possible addition of bedroom walkout balcony in the future. We matched the brick of the existing home to ensure a seamless transition between old and new.
